Born in Beirut in 1992 and currently based in Amsterdam, Toni Geitani moves across a vast artistic landscape as a director, sound designer, music producer, singer and composer.
After earning his bachelor's degree in Film Directing, he made his directorial debut with the film "The Leaves Will Bury", followed in 2017 by "The Disappearance of Goya", a gripping work that received acclaim at prestigious international film festivals.
Toni earned a Master's degree in Electronic Music at the Amsterdam Conservatory with a thesis titled "Sampling as a Political Means", in which he rigorously analyzed the dialectical relationship between electronic music and socio-political issues, offering nuanced insights into cultural appropriation and power imbalances within the sonic realm.
Toni made his musical debut in 2018 with the album "Al Roujoou Ilal Qamar", in which he blended experimental electronic elements with Arabic vocals.
Geitani maintains active collaborations across a wide range of artistic disciplines, often partnering with other artists. He is also involved in sound design work and in composing film scores.
In January 2026 he released his second album, "Wahj".
