Tigercub

A Brighton power trio formed in 2011 by Jamie Stephen Hall (vocals and guitar) and James Allix (drums), joined in 2012 by bassist Jimi Wheelwright, Tigercub built their reputation on the British rock circuit through years of relentless touring — alongside, among others, Royal Blood and Blood Red Shoes. Their sound draws on alternative and stoner rock, with a taste for razor-sharp riffs and choruses that explode, keeping one eye on early-era Muse and the other on Queens Of The Stone Age at their most direct.

Their debut album, "Abstract Figures in the Dark" (2016), sets the coordinates, but it's "As Blue as Indigo" (2021) that marks the turning point in terms of visibility — number one on the Independent Album Breakers chart, top 30 in UK physical sales. "The Perfume of Decay" (2023) marks their arrival on Loosegroove Records, the label run by Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard, which also releases their fourth album, "Nets To Catch The Wind" (2026).
