Tananai

Born in 1995, Alberto Cotta Ramusino, known as Tananai, remained unknown to the general public until January 2022. His artistic life changed thanks to the Sanremo Festival, where he gloriously finished last, singing off-key at every turn and stealing the screen with a crooked character with a thoroughly stoned look, somewhere between a drunk rapper and a sly, urban-decadent crooner.

Already active as Not For Us, orbiting electronic music, he veers toward singer-songwriter pop-rap in 2018 and, thanks to second place at Sanremo Giovani 2021, gains access to the Ligurian kermesse with “Sesso occasionale”. The song becomes a hit, establishing him as a mainstream figure, but his debut album doesn't arrive until late autumn. “Rave, eclissi” (2022) aims to represent Tananai's two sides: the more boisterous one and the more emotional one. He returns to Sanremo again in 2023.
