Sloppy Jane

Sloppy Jane is the project born from the eccentric mind of Haley Dahl, a New York artist born in 1995, known for her quirky, unsettling performances.

After a debut EP in 2015 titled "Sure-Tuff", the band started to make a name for itself and in 2018 released its debut full-length, Willow, an album steeped in rock and punk avant-garde.

Dated 2021 is instead "Madison", the second full-length that cemented the band's status internationally as well.

Still geared toward experimentation, this time the project leans more toward orchestral music and chamber-pop, choosing to record its second chapter deep inside the Lost World Caverns in West Virginia, where Dahl retreated in 2019 along with 21 other musicians.

In the project's early years, Phoebe Bridgers also contributed as bassist; after leaving, the singer-songwriter would help the band sign to Saddest Factory, the label she founded.
