Si! Boom! Voilà

SI! BOOM! VOILÀ! is a project born in 2025 from the meeting of five highly experienced musicians. Roberta Sammarelli on bass, Davide Lasala and Giulio “Ragno” Favero on guitars, Giulia Formica on drums and Michelangelo Mercuri, aka N.A.I.P., on vocals.

Roberta Sammarelli has linked her name to Verdena since the late Nineties, becoming a central and much-loved cult figure in the Italian alt-rock scene. She has also recently been part of Francesco Motta's backing band and has taken part in film-scoring projects. Davide Lasala, producer and guitarist, founded Edac Studio, where internationally renowned artists such as Gorillaz, Fatoumata Diawara and Nic Cester have recorded, and has worked as a writer and musician on numerous independent projects. Giulio "Ragno" Favero, a highly respected producer, esteemed multi-instrumentalist and sound designer, has long been a mainstay of Il Teatro degli Orrori and One Dimensional Man. Giulia Formica, a drummer with a remarkable sense of rhythm, has collaborated with Baustelle, Chiello, Colombre and Selton. Michelangelo Mercuri, aka N.A.I.P., an acronym for "Nessun Artista In Particolare" ("No Artist In Particular"), is a performer capable of blending voice and electronics in a strikingly personal way. Together, the five musicians form a noise-punk collective in which experience and instinct coexist entirely naturally, seeking not so much perfection as the true moment — the one in which the sound reveals itself as alive, imperfect, unrepeatable.

On 14 November 2025 the band released their first single, "Pinocchio", followed a month later by "Voilà!". On 16 January 2026, with curiosity in the "alternative" circuit now palpable, their self-titled debut album was unleashed.
