Sara Persico

Sound artist Sara Persico was born in Naples, where she graduated from the Conservatory before going on to earn her master's degree at the Conservatory of Bologna, but for years now she has lived in Berlin, a city where she has made a name for herself in the stimulating electronic and electroacoustic scene of the German capital. After her debut EP, "Boundary", a work of electroacoustics and voice, she made her album debut with "Sphaîra", an LP recorded at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli (Lebanon), specifically in the Experimental Theatre, a masterpiece of architecture by Oscar Niemeyer left unfinished after the outbreak of civil war in 1975.
