Sangiovanni

Giovanni Damian from Vicenza, a 2003-born artist known to the audience of “Amici” as Sangiovanni, won the 2020-2021 edition of Maria De Filippi's famous show in the “singing” category, rightfully entering our mainstream, but losing in the grand final to dancer and partner Giulia Stabile.

Spotted by Caterina Caselli's Sugar label, he quickly released a mini-album, “Sangiovanni” (2021), then took part in the “Festival di Sanremo” in 2022, and two months later came his debut album, “Cadere volare” (2022), where he sincerely recounts his fragilities and melancholy, avoiding any collaboration behind the microphone: a rarity.
