Rancore, born Tarek Iurcich, is a Rome-based rapper born in 1989 to a Croatian father and an Egyptian mother. He started out very young, debuting in 2006 with the album “Segui me”, also driven by his participation in freestyle battles. He worked extensively with Dj Myke, releasing first “Acustico” (2010) and then “Elettrico” (2011), but in the meantime he also developed an alter ego, RINquore, which lasted for just a handful of tracks. Again with Dj Myke, he also released “Silenzio” (2012) and the EP “S.U.N.S.H.I.N.E.” (2015).
In 2016 a new phase of his career began, marked by more frequent guest appearances on other artists' albums and songs, and above all by the release of “Musica per bambini” (2018), his second solo album. He took part in the Sanremo Festival in 2019 and 2020, then in 2022 arrived at his third solo album, “Xenoverso“, with its science-fiction overtones. “Tarek to Color In” (2026) marks a return to an angry, political rap, also bitterly self-mocking.
