It's the passion of neomelodic music that interests Nziria (real name Tullia Benedicta), soundscaper and singer from Ravenna, who nonetheless proudly claims her Neapolitan roots, starting right from the choice of her "capricious" moniker. As already happens in Liberato's music, this non-binary artist immerses the neomelodic vocal style in new sonic contexts, actually even more extreme than those that still winked at pop in the Neapolitan urban master of ceremonies' work. Gabber techno, deconstructed club, industrial shades and other electronic distortions thus become the seething backdrop where Nziria, through her powerful androgynous voice, desecrates the cisgender stereotypes of Neapolitan neomelodic song, turning it into a vehicle for a new, fluid kind of love.
