Neptunian Maximalism

Neptunian Maximalism is a Belgian musical collective founded in 2018 by saxophonist Guillaume Cazalet. Their music blends elements of drone, free jazz, doom metal and traditional Indian music, giving rise to compositions of powerful atmospheric and spiritual intensity.

The group made a name for itself with the album "Eons" (2020), an ambitious work that drew the attention of international critics. Since then, Neptunian Maximalism has developed a sonic poetics centered on ritual and on the search for hybrid, immersive musical forms.

Their performances and recordings stand out for their length, sonic density and interdisciplinary approach, often informed by cosmic, ecological and philosophical themes.
