Mariusz Duda (Węgorzewo, September 25, 1975) is a Polish singer and bassist, best known as the frontman of the influential progressive rock band Riverside.
Alongside his work with Riverside, Duda is also active in various solo projects, the most important of which is the folk-prog venture released under the moniker Lunatic Soul, under which he released no fewer than seven albums between 2008 and 2022, including “Walking On A Flashlight Beam” (2014) and “Through Shaded Woods” (2020).
In recent years Duda has also gone back to exploring old artistic passions, first and foremost his love for electronic music, the field that, back in his teenage years, was the real gateway that got him hooked on this art form to the point of turning it into his profession.
In this area, in 2022 Kscope gathered into a box set titled “Lockdown Trilogy“, the three electronic music collections Duda had put out between 2020 and 2021.
