Machine Girl

The American project Machine Girl was born in New York as a solo venture by Matt Stephenson in 2012. Geared toward extreme electronic sounds, from digital hardcore to the most chaotic drum'n'bass, by way of breaks and glitch, it found a first breakthrough with "WLFGRL" (2014), but it's with the following albums that the sound became more intricate and professional, helped along by the arrival of a drummer, Sean Kelly. With "U-Void Synthesizer" (2020) they perhaps reached full maturity, before throwing themselves into the double soundtrack for the video game Neon White. In 2024 they return with "MG Ultra".
