Jlin

Electronic musician Jerrilynn Patton, born in Indiana in 1987, is better known as Jlin. Under this name she has left an indelible mark on the electronic music of the 2010s and 2020s, offering an utterly personal take on footwork, techno and juke, with major injections of African, jazz and classical music. "Dark Energy" (2015) and, above all, "Black Origami" (2017) brought her to the attention of international critics. She returns to the album format, after various other sonic adventures and collaborations, with "Akoma" (2024).
