JID

Destin Coiche Route, born in 1990 in Atlanta, is part of the musical collective Spillage Village. He rose to prominence through a long string of independent releases, but made his official debut after signing with J. Cole's Dreamville in partnership with Interscope, already drawing attention with his debut "The Never Story" (2017) and "DiCaprio 2" (2018). A handful of hits ("Never", "Off Deez", "151 Rum" etc.) and, above all, the massive success of the multi-platinum single "Enemy" (2021), featuring Imagine Dragons, made him one of 2022's rising stars, the year he returned with his third official album, "The Forever Story" (2022). In 2025 he returns with "God Does Like Ugly".
