Imperial Triumphant

Imperial Triumphant is a New York avant-metal trio active since the mid-2000s. Their music blends elements of death and black metal with jazz, classical and electronic influences, marked by urban atmospheres, complex structures and a strong art deco imagery. With albums like “Vile Luxury” (2018) and “Alphaville” (2020), the band has established itself as one of the most experimental forces on the contemporary extreme music scene. Their compositions often include brass, orchestral inserts and improvised passages, while the lyrics explore themes tied to the decadence of modern civilization and the mechanisms of power.
