Imarhan

Imarhan are an Algerian rock band formed in the city of Tamanrasset. Influenced by desert-rock groups and traditional Tuareg music, they have developed a sound that combines traditional elements with Western rock and blues.

They released their self-titled debut album in 2016, followed two years later by "Temet". Both were recorded in France and were well received in Europe too, allowing the group to perform in various live clubs. In 2022 they released "Aboogi", recorded at home with the collaboration of several artists. Compared to their previous work, "Aboogi" is more melancholic and reflective but, in terms of stylistic choices and quality, can be considered the African band's mature statement.

Consolidating and renewing their style is "Essam" (2026).
