Federico Mosconi is a classically trained musician from the Veneto region, who graduated in guitar and multimedia composition from the Verona Conservatory. Alongside his work as a performer, he has also composed for theatre and cinema.
He is a member of the electroacoustic improvisation sextet Cardew Ensemble, with which he has performed at numerous festivals devoted to contemporary music. Since 2014 he has been releasing solo albums, developing an ambient approach centred on the intersection of atmospheric modulations and harmonic textures drawn from the sound - pure or filtered - of his instrument of choice. Each new release has marked a further refinement of this practice, accompanied by the steady expansion of an ever-broader sonic palette.
Among his standout works are “Light Not Light” (2019, Shimmering Moods), “Air Sculptures” (2022, Lost Tribe Sound) and “Frammenti” (2025, Dronarivm), on which he collaborates with Barbara de Dominicis and Mirco Salvadori.
