Daniela Pes was born in the heart of Gallura in 1992. Her voice and her music elude classification and any pre-set pigeonhole.
Daniela Pes is immersed in the flow of music, as a singer, as an instrumentalist, as an electronic musician. Hers is a multifaceted talent.
In April 2023 she released her debut album, titled "Spira", on Tanca Records, with artistic production by Iosonouncane. The record occupied her for the past three years and distills the many musical lives Daniela has lived.
She arrives at her debut with an impressive résumé that includes a degree in Jazz Singing from the Sassari Conservatory and a scholarship to the Nuoro Jazz Summer Seminars directed by Paolo Fresu, which led her to perform at Time in Jazz and at the Harp Festival in Rio de Janeiro.
Rounding out the picture are the prestigious Andrea Parodi Award in 2017 (where she won the critics' prize, the international jury prize, best music and best arrangement), the Nuovo IMAIE award (2017 and 2018), and the SIAE award for best music at the 2018 Musicultura prize.
