Cryptic Shift

The English band Cryptic Shift play extreme, progressive metal with an unbridled passion for colossal compositions. The more curious among you will already know them through their intriguing 2020 effort “Visitations From Enceladus”, opened by the 26-minute, six-part suite “Moonbelt Immolator”. They go even further over the top with their second album, “Overspace & Supertime” (2026), which transforms the ideas of their debut into an even more extreme, monumental exploration of technical, progressive, sci-fi metal.
