Coma_Cose are California and Fausto Lama. A duo formed in 2016, a couple in life and in music, blending personal experience and an urban sound sensibility with a singer-songwriter's poetics. Between February and June 2017, Coma_Cose released their first four tracks with accompanying videos, and in the autumn of that same year they put out "Inverno Ticinese" with Asian Fake, their first manifesto-EP: the response from audience and critics alike was explosive. In just 12 months, Coma_Cose expanded their audience, started getting radio play, and closed out 2018 having played around a hundred concerts.
In 2019 they released their first album, "Hype Aura", followed by a year packed with commitments and accolades. They crossed the border beyond the Italian peninsula: playing in Paris as support for Phoenix and at the Sziget Festival in Budapest. This was the year of sold-out club shows, including one at Alcatraz in Milan that sealed a bond of affection between the artists and their adopted city. It was also the year of the May Day concert in Rome and New Year's Eve in Piazza Duomo in Milan.
Having earned their first Fimi certifications – "Post Concerto" (Gold) and "Mancarsi" (now Platinum) – Coma_Cose kick off 2020 with a string of collaborations, teaming up with Subsonica and Francesca Michielin, and together with producer Stabber they release a new EP: "Due".
In 2021 they take part in the seventy-first edition of the Sanremo Festival, enchanting audiences with the song Fiamme negli occhi, which goes gold in just three weeks (now double platinum), and they announce the release of their new album, "Nostralgia", out on April 16, 2021, followed by the "Nostralgia Tour", which took them across Italy for more than 30 shows.
On November 4, 2022, they release "A wonderful way to save yourself", their new album, preceded by the single "Chiamami". They compete at the 73rd edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song "L'addio", which wins the Premio Bardotti for best lyrics and the Premio Lunezia. Starting in March 2023, Coma Cose kick off their "Un Meraviglioso Modo di Incontrarsi Tour", a series of dates that takes them to the main clubs across Italy, with two special shows in London and Paris.
They return to Sanremo in 2025 and release their new album, "Vita_fusa".
