Colapesce/Dimartino

Colapesce/Dimartino is an Italian musical duo formed in 2020 from the artistic collaboration between Sicilian singer-songwriters Lorenzo Urciullo, known by the stage name Colapesce, and Antonio Di Martino, known simply as Dimartino.

After releasing their first joint album “I mortali“ in the summer of 2020, the duo took part in the 2021 Sanremo Music Festival with the song “Musica leggerissima”, finishing fourth and winning the Radio TV-Web Press Room Lucio Dalla award. The song was a huge hit, becoming one of the anthems of the summer of 2021: it earned five platinum discs, spent seven weeks at the top of the FIMI charts, and won the 2021 SIAE award. A reissue of the album, “I mortali²“, was later released.

In September they took part in the SEAT Music Awards.

On 4 December 2022, their participation in the 2023 Sanremo Music Festival with the song “Splash” was announced on TG1. At the festival the duo finished tenth and won the Mia Martini Critics' Award, as well as once again the Lucio Dalla Radio-TV-Web Press Room award.

“The Spring of My Life” is the second studio album by the Italian music duo, released on 24 February 2023 through CAM Sugar.

The album features the songs from the soundtrack of the film of the same name, in which Colapesce and Dimartino star as the leads.

The artists wrote the original music together with Giordano Colombo, Federico Nardelli, Giulia Emma Russo, Davide Rossi, Marco Giudici, Adele Altro and Madame, drawing on the work of Franco Micalizzi, Ennio Morricone, Riz Ortolani, Fabio Frizzi and Piero Umiliani.
