A Canadian post-punk/art-rock project officially formed in November 2021 from the ashes of Ought, the brainchild of former members Tim Darcy and Ben Stidworthy, together with Evan Cartwright (U.S. Girls, Brodie West, The Weather Station), though the seed had already been planted through an informal collaboration between the three back in 2019. The trio made its debut with the solid “Deep In View” (2022), notable for its introspective lyrics set against spare, minimal sonics, with the occasional indie-rock foray.
