Serú Girán

Progressive rock supergroup founded in Buenos Aires in 1978 by Charly García (vocals and keyboards), David Lebón (vocals and bass), Pedro Aznar (bass and vocals) and Oscar Moro (drums). The band's career lasted until 1982, followed by a reunion between 1992 and 1993.
With the exception of Aznar, just nineteen at the time of the debut, the others were already major names in Argentine rock, having been part of bands of the caliber of Pescado Rabioso (Lebón), Sui Generis (García) and La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros (García and Moro).
Though a fairly collegial project, it was García who pulled the strings, one of the most brilliant figures in South American popular music.
