C.V. Jørgensen

Active since the mid-1970s, C.V. Jørgensen is one of the most important Danish singer-songwriters. His music blends rock and pop sounds with eclectic, refined arrangements, paired with sharp, ironic lyrics of great literary depth about contemporary society and the contradictions of urban life. Famous for his gravelly, unconventional voice, he is a pillar of his country's culture.
The albums "Storbyens små oaser" (1977) and "Tidens tern" (1980) rank among the masterpieces of European singer-songwriter music of the era.
