Brainiac

A revival-leaning synth-punk quartet formed in Dayton in 1992, made up of Tim Taylor (vocals, guitar, keyboards), who died prematurely following an accident in 1997, Juan Monasterio (bass), Tyler Trent (drums), and John Schmersal (guitar, keyboards, vocals), the latter having replaced Michelle Bodine in 1994.

They released three studio albums: "Smack Bunny Baby" (1993), "Bonsai Superstar" (1994) and the essential "Hissing Prigs In Static Couture" (1996).
