Bab L'Bluz, whose name means "The doors of blues," are a French-Moroccan band formed in Marrakech in 2018. Founded by Yousra Mansour, vocals and electric awisha, and Brice Bottin, multi-instrumentalist and electric gimbri player, the group fuses traditional North African sounds with psychedelic rock and blues. Part of the "Nayda" artistic movement, which celebrates Moroccan cultural heritage, Bab'L Bluz sing mainly in Darija Arabic, tackling social and political themes with powerful, committed lyrics. After debuting with "Nayda!" in 2020, they released their second album "Swaken" in 2024.
