aus is the solo project of composer and producer Yasuhiko Fukuzono, born in Tokyo. Fukuzono has made a name for himself with his skilled and delicate sound production, which exquisitely combines cinematic strings and electronics with sounds from everyday life.

Beyond his commercial compositions, Fukuzono also creates sound design for exhibitions, works on music production for experimental cinema and, as owner of the FLAU label – which Pitchfork described as “the leading national label for whispered music” – has released numerous Japanese and international artists.
