And So I Watch You from Afar

A Northern Irish quartet, they debuted in 2009 with an original math-rock proposition, able to blend guitar-driven energy with melodic effectiveness, often built on themes inspired by local folk tradition. With subsequent releases the formula grows more refined, becoming more dynamic and evocative thanks to soft/loud structures reminiscent of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Explosions In The Sky. By their sixth album, "Jettison", the band embraces the use of strings and arrives at a progressive rock with a solid, dramatic impact, which nonetheless continues to incorporate their longstanding Zeppelin-esque taste for interlocking riffs and Celtic sinuousness.
