Ana Roxanne

Ana Roxanne (Ana Roxanne Recto) is an American composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist of Filipino descent, raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Trained across jazz, choral music, experimental electronics and Hindustani singing, she has developed a personal style blending ambient, drone and songwriting. After the EP "–" (originally released in 2015 and given a wider release in 2019), she caught the critics' attention with "Because Of A Flower" (2020), an album devoted to themes of identity and personal transformation. In 2023 she collaborated with DJ Python on the project "Natural Wonder Beauty Concept", while with "Poem 1" (2026) she has taken a more intimate, song-based direction, without abandoning the ambient sensibility that has defined her artistic path.
