Amon

I was born in 1970 in Savona and currently live in Milan, Italy. I started experimenting with music in the early '90s, mainly using tapes and objects. A few years later I also began using synthesizers, samplers and other electronic devices, founding the Lips Vago Digital Studio.

My best-known projects are Amon and Never Known. Between the late '90s and early 2000s, several of my productions in the Ambient/Dark Ambient field were released on CD and other formats by labels such as Eibon Records, Nextera, Amplexus, Silentes, Drone Records, Taâlem, etc.

For a certain period I was also responsible for other projects dealing with different styles of electronic music, ranging from Lo-Fi/Weird/Cheap Electronica to IDM (Wolkspurz & Ramirez, Lips Vago) and on to Dada/Noise/Nonsense (Spiral).

With the start of the new century I began recording and releasing Experimental/Ambient tracks under my own name, as a duo with Giuseppe Verticchio/Nimh under the name Hall of Mirrors, with Davide Del Col (Ornament, Echran, Antikatechon) as Molnija Aura, and again as a duo with Andrea “Ics” Ferraris as “Sil Muir”. I was later also involved in two collective projects: Maribor, with Giuseppe Verticchio, Maurizio Bianchi, Stefano Gentile, Pierpaolo Zoppo and Gianluca Favaron, and Meerkat, with Andrea Ferraris, Davide Valecchi/aal, Fabio Selvafiorita, Luca Bergero/Fhievel, Logoplasm, Luca Sigurtà, Matteo Uggeri/Hue and Adriano Zanni/Punck.
