Alfa, stage name of Andrea De Filippi, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Genoa in 2000. He rose to prominence starting in 2019 thanks to a constant presence on social media and streaming platforms, where his light, immediate pop songs reached a very young audience.
His first big success came with the single "Cin Cin", followed by his debut album "Before Wanderlust" (2019), which brought him to the attention of the national market. In 2021 he released "Nord", a work that consolidated his style between pop, indie influences and everyday storytelling. His songwriting favors generational themes, relationships and personal growth, with direct, recognizable language.
In 2024 he took part in the Sanremo Festival in the Big Artists section, further expanding his visibility. On that occasion he also stood out for his duet on cover night with Roberto Vecchioni, a historic figure of Italian singer-songwriter music, performing "Sogna ragazzo sogna" together.
Over the years Alfa has built a solid career in the contemporary Italian pop landscape, backed by impressive streaming numbers and a strong bond with his online audience.
