5 Seconds Of Summer

A self-styled, world-conquering Australian boyband heavy on pop and light on punk, 5 Seconds Of Summer have racked up hits, streams and sold-out shows by serving as the rockier alternative to One Direction, without sacrificing any of the simplicity and immediacy essential to reaching young audiences of every era. Over time they've drifted towards a sleeker, more danceable electronic pop sound and towards new wave, before swinging back to rock in 2025 with “Everyone's A Star”.
