"Hey, bro, where are you going?"
You answered me:
"Hey, bro, I'm going to Hawaii"
But I didn't think
You were seriously going to stay in Honolulu
I had understood "go to hell"
And I'm really sorry, bro

The instant book is a book published to meet a sudden surge in market demand. After Sanremo, it's becoming increasingly common to release short albums or extensions of previous EPs to capitalize on the temporary attention of a more diverse audience. The Coma_Cose are now accustomed to the media whirlwind of the Ariston and accompany their third participation with the release of this "Vita_fusa", hot on the heels of their performance at the Sanremo Festival: it's a sort of mini-album that also serves as a representative of the concept of an instant album, increasingly common in a bulimic and distracted music market.

26 minutes of music that narrate the new life together, as husband and wife, of California and Fausto Lama, but also their search for some kind of happiness in everyday life. They express this melancholic euphoria in the opening "Quando ti ho conosciuto", an orchestral pop piece that slightly echoes Calcutta. The other side of their creativity immediately follows with "Cuoricini", the kitsch hit with which they replicate the viral effect of "Ciao Ciao" by La Rappresentante di Lista, using Italy's most famous television stage for a Ricchi e Poveri-style number, built on the alternation of the two voices and the hammering chorus.

Other two-voice ballads, about fragile certainties and small romantic dreams, accompany the listener without many surprises: a slightly over-the-top line here, a sax solo there, perhaps a reference to Battisti or more classic singer-songwriters. The already familiar club banger "Malavita" also reappears, imitating De André's language to produce a bumper car and carousel ride track, along with the house-pop of "Posti vuoti". The album closes with the pop-rap with electric guitars of "G.O.O.D.B.Y.E.", the most energetic moment of the album, so exuberant that it might be too much.

What will remain of this musical moment, put together without worrying about reusing previously released singles or exploring different styles, not even particularly coordinated with each other? Very little, probably, apart from the early summer hit "Cuoricini", which, frankly, is already tiresome. Forget_table.
